Miscellaneous and Highlights
February 2006

Sunday The tables weren't quite right the usual way they were set up, so we arranged them in a larger 'circle' with Gale in the center. This way we could all see each other, we could keep an eye on Gale, and nobody was against a wall and out of the loop.

Monday There were field trips today.

Robert Parker wrote the Jessie Stone mystery novels that Tom Selleck's new movie series is from.

Allen Rickman was the bad guy in "Quigley Down Under".

Tip: Use plastic tab from bread wrapper on the end of your blue tape to make it easier to start.

Tuesday

Valentine's Day
Did group photos today after breakfast.

Note to Dottie: What is the name of the upholstery guy?

There is snow all around. Before we had breakfast, Marje announced that it is snowing in Damascus. During breakfast, Patti announced that it is snowing in Estacada. Then it snowed at Tilikum and we were all able to watch it from the dining room window. Later, Sue A announced that there is snow in Eugene. Bradford told us sure, we could stay all week if we are snowed in.

More field trips today.

Today was Marilyn's wedding anniversary. Her children sent her a wonderful bouquet that was waiting for her when we returned from a field trip.

We each contributed $5 to a Lottery fund. We are going to win the $300 million Powerball prize!

Something to remember ... do not plug in both irons to warm up at the same time. They draw too much power. When the first one is warm, plug in the second one.

Lee's wedding anniversary party is on April 27, and her children's production of "Sound of Music" is April 28.

Wednesday We awoke to clear blue skies and frost in the valley. Pretty. Patti reported that there is still 1/2 inch of snow in Estacada.

The next February Quilters on the Lamb retreat will be February 11 - 14, 2007.
